Spring has officially arrived on College Row! We have been receiving new arrivals for spring every day and we can’t wait to share with you three of our favorite trends for this season.
Neon is making a comeback! On our last buying trip, one trend instantly stood out from the rest: this year’s pops of color are bolder and edgier. When we saw these pants, we fell in love with their daring hues.
How to wear it: Try these pants with a neutral colored shirt to highlight their bold color without being overwhelming. If you’re feeling daring, pair them with a piece in another bold shade to embrace color blocking. An easy guide to what colors go best one another is the color wheel! However you wear them, wear them with confidence!
Since it was announced, we’ve started seeing Pantone’s color of the year pop up everywhere. From wall colors to pocket squares, this is truly the year of Living Coral. Pantone describes 2019’s color of the year as, “Sociable and spirited, Living Coral welcomes and encourages lighthearted activity. Symbolizing our innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits, Living Coral embodies our desire for playful expression.”
One of our favorite new arrivals are these tops. Perfect for layering, they can be worn by themselves or under a jacket or cardigan. Our personal favorite is the coral top. Not only does it capture Living Coral’s playful characteristics, but it’s effortless details also make it totally wearable.
Prints always dare to make a statement, but this season our menswear is enjoying the subtle beauty of showing off pops of print. Two of this season’s newest brands such as BUGATCHI and Calder have brought fresh new printed pieces to our store.
These bold pieces keep things professional and fun by providing just a peek of the prints in details such as the inside of a sport shirt’s cuff or in a pair of new socks. These small details are a great way to add a little of your own personality into your polished look.
